I'm way to hooked for this to be normal...

Twilight. Need I say more?

When I first heard of all the hype around this, I thought people were seriously insane. Vampires? Werewolves? Come on! I did a minute of research and found out that it was a series of teen novels. Teen novels. As in, I'm twenty nine years old. I should be reading something more sophisticated with stuff to do about retirement or something. (not that that would even peak my interest)

I fought the good fight. I didn't give in. I heard about the movie coming out. Didn't even want to see it...

I lost my battle. My strength crumbled. I bought the first book in March. It's the beginning of May and I am almost finished with the fourth book. I have seen the movie. More than once. I even pre-ordered it thinking that since I was so in love with the series, everyone else would be too. They would buy every last one during the midnight release and I would never be able to see it. That was a fail. I bought it at Walmart and there were plenty.

I am in love. Not freaky, obsessed in love but like in love. The writing is good. In my opinion it isn't just for the teenage audience that it is intended to be for. It is for anyone that enjoys excellent writing. I could never do Harry Potter but Twilight...

It has my heart. November is the second movie release. I'll be one of the freaks waiting to see it opening weekend. I won't dress up or anything too overboard. I will throw punches over theater seating if I have to though!
